Privacy Policy

Finisher's Warehouse is a wood-finishing and coatings supplier at 2655 N 37th Dr., Phoenix, AZ 85009. This policy covers finisherswarehouse.com, including the customer portal, and applies whether you browse as a guest or sign in as a customer.

We only collect what you hand us or what running the site requires:

• Contact form — your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and your message.
• Account application — your business name, contact name, email address, phone number and any message you include.
• Customer portal — if your business has an account with us, the portal shows the information already on that account: your business and contact details, order history, invoices and statements, and any saved lists or profile-change requests you create in the portal.
• Sign-in codes — the portal has no passwords. When you sign in we send a one-time code to the email address or mobile number on your account and keep a record of the code until it expires. We also keep the time and network address of sign-in attempts to stop abuse.
• Technical data — like every website, our server logs the network address, browser and pages requested for each visit. We use these logs to keep the site running and secure, not to profile you.

This website has no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking pixels. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone. Card payments are not taken on this website; the public catalog shows list prices, and orders on business accounts are billed under the terms of that account.

• To answer your message or review your account application.
• To run your customer account: sign you in, show your orders and statements, and act on the requests you make in the portal.
• To ship, invoice and support the orders you place with us.
• To keep the site and your account secure.

We do not send marketing email or text messages unless you have asked for them, and you can stop them at any time by replying or contacting us.

Your information is handled by our staff and by the service providers that run parts of the site for us:

• SyncERP — the business system that holds our customer accounts, orders and inventory. The portal reads from it and writes your portal activity to it. It is operated for us by our software provider under contract.
• Email and text-message delivery — sign-in codes and notifications go out through the email service and the text-message service we use (text messages via Amazon Web Services). Each sees only the address or number and the message needed to deliver it.
• Shipping carriers — when we ship an order, the carrier receives the name and address needed to deliver it.
• Hosting — the site runs on servers in the United States.

Each provider may use your information only to do the work we ask of it. We will also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

The site sets two cookies, both essential: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and remembers what you are doing between pages, and a security token that protects forms against forgery. Both expire when your session does. If you dismiss the Spanish-language suggestion, the site remembers that choice in your browser's local storage. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of; you can clear or block cookies in your browser, but the portal will not work without the session cookie.

Fonts are served by a privacy-friendly font service (fonts.bunny.net) and product photos by our business system's server; each receives the ordinary request data (your network address and browser) needed to send the file.

Messages and account applications are kept as long as we need them to respond and, if you become a customer, as part of your account record. Account, order and invoice records are kept for as long as you are a customer and for the period tax and accounting law requires afterwards. Sign-in codes are deleted when they expire; sign-in attempt logs are kept briefly for security.

• Customers can update contact details and addresses from the portal profile page; changes are reviewed by our staff before they take effect on the account.
• You can stop any marketing message by replying to it or contacting us.

The site is served over HTTPS. Portal access uses one-time codes rather than stored passwords, and access to our business system is limited to the staff who need it. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

When this policy changes we post the new version here with a new date at the top. Keep an eye on the date if it matters to you.
